To aid identification we shall compare various significant parts of the wildfowl:-

The Head, Beak & Eyes

Bean Goose	Greylag Goose
The Bean Goose has a Black base and tip to its Orange beak.
The Greylag Goose has an Orange or Pink beak.

The Breast & Body

Bean Goose	Greylag Goose
The Bean Goose has Dark Brown plumage with White fringes.
The Greylag Goose has Brown plumage with Grey fringes.

The Legs & Feet

Bean Goose	Greylag Goose
The Bean Goose has Bright Orange legs and feet.
The Greylag Goose has Pink legs and feet.
