To aid identification we shall compare various significant parts of the wildfowl:-
The Head, Beak & Eyes
Ring-Necked Duck
Tufted Duck
The Ring-necked Duck has a White band at the end of the beak, and a thin White strip at the base of the beak.
The Tufted Duck has a tuft at the back of the head.
The Breast & Body
Ring-Necked Duck
Tufted Duck
The Breast and Body are similar.
The Legs & Feet
